Human development from the very beginning

We have learned an immense amount during the past 100 years about how we have developed as humans. Scientists and researchers have shown us a great deal. Because of this, we now understand more about genetics and evolution.

Parents now have the knowledge to approach early child-rearing with a plan. They can plan to work with Nature rather than against it. They can choose to trust or not trust what they have learned about genetics and evolution and how this affects the needs and behaviour of the human infant.
