We need to learn more

We need to learn about the natural process of birth. By knowing this process we can lessen the unnecessary fears and be able to face birth with calm and courage. Acceptance of the process -- of the contractions, of the pain -- results in fewer complications. The attitude a woman has toward her body, and the process of giving birth is very important. So too, is the attitude of those around her.
